It was the perfect piece of Americana that I was home sick for during our trip. The coffee was not very fresh and I noticed mashed potatoes still caked onto my spoon. I've lived in Denver my entire life, traveled around the United States extensively, and let me be the first to say Stacys it one of best diners around. Ordered steak and eggs, was able to get fruit and cottage cheese as a free substitution. The home made cinnamon rolls are delicious! On the menu for breakfast there is one of the best steak and egg combos you can find anywhere, also the spinach and feta omelet is usually on special. Nothing tasted fresh or homemade which is disappointing because I've found most diners do a pretty good meal. This place used to be pretty good but not sny more. Sort of Greek, sort of southern, sort of a diner only without breakfasts or pies on display. Since 1969, Stacy's has been serving homestyle country classics to the Junction City area.
